About The Position

This role is for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join their growing team, splitting time between the Port Washington & Albertson clinics, both equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The therapist will treat a variety of patients, with a preference for those interested in pelvic floor therapy (requiring completion of the Herman & Wallace Level 1 course). Metro PT emphasizes being a community and values employee growth alongside patient progress.

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
• NYS Occupational Therapy License or eligible
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Certifications Required: CPR/First Aid

Nice To Haves

• Outpatient experience preferred (mentorship available for new grads)
• Sensory integration experience a plus
• Herman & Wallace Level 1 Pelvic Course

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one outpatient OT care
• Evaluate, design, and adjust individualized care plans
• Fabricate custom splints as needed
• Document evaluations and treatment progress
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
