About The Position
Primary Therapy Source is an outpatient organization providing physical, occupational, speech, and behavioral therapy to patients of all ages. The organization serves Southern Idaho and contracts with local school districts to provide therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. It operates two clinic locations. New graduates and experienced therapists are welcome to apply. The Occupational Therapist provides direct treatment, follows documented treatment plans, documents patient progress, and adapts instructional materials to patient needs and abilities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Idaho license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass an employer-conducted background check.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with children and adults.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to react flexibly and sensitively to changing situations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct treatment.
- Follow and implement documented treatment plans.
- Document progress toward established objectives and report the information to the therapist.
- Adapt or modify instructional materials based on patients’ needs and abilities.
