About The Position
Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join their Outpatient rehabilitation team at John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Florida. This role focuses on treating active, engaged seniors in a true outpatient setting, with a specialization in orthopedics, balance, mobility, strength, and fall prevention. The position emphasizes building long-term therapeutic relationships and practicing patient-centered, wellness-based care without high-pressure productivity standards. This is an ideal opportunity for therapists who enjoy outpatient care with a geriatric population that is highly motivated and invested in their health. The role is dedicated specifically to outpatient services, without inpatient or SNF responsibilities.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain prior to start
- Interest in outpatient physical therapy and geriatric-focused care
- Passion for helping older adults live active, independent lifestyles
Responsibilities
