About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide compassionate, personalized occupational therapy to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role focuses on supporting patients’ independence and quality of life while contributing to their recovery and celebrating progress along the way.

The Occupational Therapist works collaboratively with a supportive care team, using specialized skills and access to technology to deliver high-quality care. The position is open to both clinicians beginning their careers and experienced Occupational Therapists. Requirements

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• A master’s degree is preferred; a bachelor’s degree plus sufficient experience in the field is also accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy care to patients.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients by taking time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs in support of recovery.
• Recognize and celebrate patients’ progress and victories.
