Join our team as a Occupational Therapist within our Inpatient Occupational Therapy department at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. This energetic team functions in a very collaborative way, both within their team of experienced therapists and inter-disciplinarily with other teams as well. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop their skills while maintaining a patient-centered approach to the care they provide. The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, treatment, and education to patients and family members through a continuum of care according to the Occupational Therapy Practice Act, Code of Ethics, JCAHO/UMQC, Policies and Procedures, and Federal/State regulations.

Requirements

Current or Pending CA Occupational Therapy license
Graduate from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
Current BLS Certificate

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting

Responsibilities

Provides evaluation, assessment, treatment, and education to patients and family members through a continuum of care according to the Occupational Therapy Practice Act, Code of Ethics, JCAHO/UMQC, Policies and Procedures, and Federal/State regulations.
