About The Position

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide home health services in patients’ homes throughout Boxborough, Massachusetts. The role focuses on helping patients improve everyday function, achieve meaningful goals, and become more independent through individualized occupational therapy. Clinicians receive flexible scheduling, clinical and administrative support, and opportunities for ongoing training and professional development. Compensation is up to $160 per visit.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• Afternoon availability.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled interventions to improve strength, coordination, and functional performance.
• Address activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Evaluate home safety and recommend adaptive equipment and modifications.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
