The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services department has locations on the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. They provide comprehensive evaluation and rehabilitation management services relating to congenital or acquired conditions that may lead to physical cognitive impairment. Patients receive help to achieve or regain functional potential in areas such as mobility, communication, and self-care. All care is coordinated with the patients primary care provider. Position Summary Responsible for the evaluation and provision of occupational therapy services to children; the accompanying written documentation and verbal communication needed to administer care including provider orders; provides patient/family/caregivers, staff, and student training; provides a safe, clean environment; provides proper care for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes patient/family, provider, and intradepartmental satisfaction. All of the positions' duties are performed within Children's MN Standards of Behavior. This is a casual OT position based out of the Minneapolis inpatient setting, with the potential to float to other hospital sites to meet patient demand. There may also be opportunities for outpatient training and coverage, if interested.
