About The Position

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our inpatient/acute care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven, wanting to work with patients in an inpatient setting helping them regain or improve the skills necessary for daily living and working after illness, injury, or surgery.

Requirements

• Bachelors-Occupational Therapy-Required
• Licensed in the state of practice-Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
• Certified by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Inc. (NBCOT).
• Reliable vehicle and auto insurance may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Masters-Occupational Therapy-Preferred
• Previous experience preferred.
• Illinois: Following occupational therapy philosophies and standards of care set by Illinois Occupational Therapy Act and other applicable governing agencies licensure is required within 6 months for individuals meeting all other applicable requirements.
