About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist at Gregory Ridge Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Kansas City, Missouri. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs, creates and delivers individualized treatment plans, and helps patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function so they can regain independence and quality of life. The role uses a one-on-one therapy focus, with group or concurrent treatments comprising less than 1% of treatment. The schedule is Monday through Friday and flexible. Compensation is a competitive hourly rate based on experience; the salary range is undisclosed. Requirements

• Master’s or doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state occupational therapy license.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices.
• Educate patients on strategies to improve function and safety.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and the full care team.
• Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately.
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and research.
