About The Position
InHome Therapy is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve adult and geriatric patients in their homes in and around Fort Pierce. This role offers a flexible schedule, consistent caseload, and a supportive team environment. The position involves delivering in-home occupational therapy services, evaluating patient mobility, strength, and function, developing individualized treatment goals, implementing rehabilitation programs, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Active occupational therapy (OT) license in good standing
- BLS CPR certification
- Reliable transportation to see patients in their homes
- Basic comfort with technology - email, texting, EMR systems (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-home occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in your community
- Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and function to develop individualized treatment goals
- Implement effective rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely home health care documentation per Medicare and agency standards
