About The Position
Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a Licensed PRN Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Sedalia, MO. This PRN (as-needed) position offers a flexible schedule with a focus on one-on-one patient care. The company is a therapist- and veteran-owned organization with over 25 years of experience providing skilled healthcare services, emphasizing patient-centered care and a supportive team environment. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients' functional abilities, create individualized treatment plans, and help patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function to regain independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (accredited program)
- Valid state OT license
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Passion for patient-centered care
- CPR certification preferred
Nice To Haves
- Experience as an OT preferred (new grads welcome)
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough OT evaluations
- Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans
- Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment
- Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices
- Educate on strategies to improve function and safety
- Collaborate with PT, SLP, physicians, and the full care team
- Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately
- Stay current with OT best practices and research
