About The Position

Brighten Life Home Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide personalized home health care to patients in Cedar City, Utah. The therapist helps patients recover, improve mobility, maintain independence, and achieve the highest possible level of function and quality of life in their homes. The role involves one-on-one patient care, individualized treatment planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team. The position offers part-time and PRN scheduling, autonomy in patient care, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Pay is $65–$75 per visit, with $0.56 per mile mileage reimbursement; pay depends on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in Utah.
• Current AOTA certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and therapy skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy services in patients’ homes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members.
• Help patients improve daily living and functional skills.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Respond promptly to patient and referral needs.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans as needed.
