About The Position

Occupational Therapist, OT – ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC – Jasper, IN. Are you a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist with an interest in Industrial Occupational Health? In this role, you’ll apply your outpatient orthopedic expertise to support dedicated manufacturing team members experiencing pain or injury. Many of these cases resemble sports-related injuries, often resulting from heavy lifting, twisting, and repetitive motion. This setting is ideal for creative, forward-thinking therapists who enjoy problem-solving and hands-on care. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while expanding your clinical knowledge and experience in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services and evaluations to patients
  • Provide occupational therapy techniques not limited to P/ROM, joint mobilization, massage, myofascial release, desensitization techniques, and dressing changes
  • Achieve patient care time targets, with a general target of 75%+ minimum individual patient care time (unadjusted) in the outpatient setting.
  • Keeping accurate, detailed documentation with efficiency while being able to provide feedback to the patient for continuous health improvements
  • Delivering care as broadly specified within applicable state practice act.
