About The Position

Blue Stone Therapy is launching a brand-new outpatient therapy program at Peaceful Pines of Mitchell in Mitchell, SD, and we're building our therapy team from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing outpatient program while delivering individualized, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in South Dakota

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, cognition, coordination, and functional mobility
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to support safe, independent living
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Complete timely, accurate documentation
• Support the development of a patient-focused outpatient therapy program
