About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for an in-person school role. The therapist will help improve students’ lives and support their success in school and beyond by providing high-quality occupational therapy services based on students’ IEPs and 504 plans. The role includes conducting evaluations and assessments and writing reports to identify students’ strengths and areas of concern, including fine motor skills and handwriting. PDS provides support and a tailored mentorship program for its therapists.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State Occupational Therapy license. PDS states that its licensing team can help candidates obtain a license for a specific state.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students based on their IEPs and 504 plans.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments.
- Write reports identifying students’ strengths and areas of concern, including in fine motor skills and handwriting.
- Support students’ success in the school setting and beyond.
