About The Position

This is a varied, community-based role where no two days look the same. You’ll manage your own caseload while being supported by a strong, collaborative clinical team. You’ll work directly with participants in their everyday environments—home, school, or community—helping them build practical skills, independence, and confidence in line with their goals. This role offers real clinical diversity, creativity, and the opportunity to tailor supports to each individual.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (km and tolls reimbursed)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (state-based)
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
  • Current RRHAN-EC certification (South Australia) or willingness to obtain (where required)
  • International police check (if required)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy supports to 3 - 4 participants per day in community settings
  • Develop practical, goal-focused intervention plans
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and support networks
  • Build strategies that are strengths-based, functional, and meaningful
  • Support participants to develop independence and everyday life skills
  • Work both autonomously in the community and as part of a highly supportive team
