About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide compassionate, personalized occupational therapy to rehabilitation patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role focuses on helping patients move toward independence and an improved quality of life. Occupational Therapists work collaboratively with the care team, recognize and celebrate patient progress, and contribute to a supportive environment with access to advanced technology.

Requirements

• Current state license in Occupational Therapy.
• BLS (CPR) certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy care to patients.
• Supervise patient care and treatments.
• Lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Identify and resolve patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients and understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
• Recognize and celebrate patient progress.
