About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Seymour Crossing. In this role, you will use clinical skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being while building meaningful relationships with residents and staff. The position offers a supportive environment with experienced therapy leaders and a structured nine-month mentorship program. The role is described as Monday through Friday; full-time and part-time benefits may vary, and terms and conditions apply.

Requirements

Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Indiana.
Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents using clinical skills.
Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
