About The Position

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy evaluation/treatment, education, and equipment training, as well as bracing/positioning, modalities, and techniques within the scope of practice to promote maximal quality of life and the safest level of function as ordered by the provider. Provides occupational therapy services for a variety of patients throughout their continuum of care in a hospital setting. Promotes an environment that empowers patient-centered, goal-directed therapy care aligned with the mission, vision, and values of MSRH.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Must have experience in evaluation/treatment, education, and equipment training
• Must be proficient in bracing/positioning, modalities, and techniques
• Must be able to promote maximal quality of life and the safest level of function
• Must be able to provide services for a variety of patients throughout their continuum of care in a hospital setting
• Must be able to promote an environment that empowers patient-centered, goal-directed therapy care aligned with the mission, vision, and values of MSRH
