About The Position
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time Autumn Lake at Union | Union, NJ $42–$47/hour | Full-Time | Benefits Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Union. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a therapist who enjoys helping residents improve daily function, regain important skills, and work toward greater independence.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
- Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional performance
- Establish meaningful goals based on each resident's abilities and rehabilitation needs
- Introduce adaptive techniques and equipment when appropriate
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on resident response
- Educate residents and caregivers on strategies that promote safety and independence
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with COTAs, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
