About The Position

Occupational Therapist Job Summary Milestone Health Partners in Williston, North Dakota is growing and seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This position is ideal for a therapist who enjoys working with the pediatric population, including children with diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, learning disabilities, and other developmental disabilities. Treatment approaches may include Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, functional and purposeful play, and other evidence-based interventions. This position also offers opportunities to work with the adult population, including upper extremity orthopedic impairments and deficits related to activities of daily living. Therapists at Milestone have the opportunity to build a caseload that aligns with their interests and passions while collaborating closely with PTs, SLPs, behavioral health providers, and ABA professionals. Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed by the North Dakota State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric and/or adult experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and develop individualized treatment recommendations
  • Modify therapeutic activities based on patient needs and progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members regarding patient care plans
  • Complete documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
  • Assist in supervision and training of students or trainees
  • Work collaboratively with other therapy disciplines
  • Provide education and presentations on pediatric and adult occupational therapy topics within the community
