Requirements
- NY State Occupational Therapy License and registration.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organizational ability.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treat physician-referred patients by organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs.
- Facilitates rehabilitation of the mentally or physically handicapped.
- Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
- Facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, and to promote and maintain health.
