Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Texas Occupational Therapist license (or eligible to obtain before start date).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
  • Passion for helping children achieve developmental milestones and greater independence.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
  • One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve: Fine motor and gross motor skills, Sensory processing, Coordination and balance, Strength and range of motion, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Functional independence
  • Educate and train parents and caregivers on home programs and therapeutic strategies.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, family-centered care.
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when applicable.
  • Complete timely documentation while maintaining compliance with state and company standards.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with patients and families through compassionate, one-on-one care.
