About The Position

TheraDynamics is a therapist-owned rehabilitation company with over 20 years of experience delivering patient outcomes across the Tri-State area. Occupational therapists in skilled nursing settings help patients regain independence after conditions such as strokes, hip fractures, cardiac events, and progressive neurological conditions. The role involves designing functional interventions addressing activities of daily living, cognitive retraining, upper-extremity rehabilitation, and safe discharge planning. The therapist’s work helps determine whether patients can return home or need to remain in a facility, with support intended to enable effective care. The Occupational Therapist conducts comprehensive evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence, and collaborates with nursing, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and social work to coordinate patient care. Treatment addresses self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, adaptive equipment needs, and caregiver training. The company describes its caseloads as manageable, values clinical reasoning and autonomy, and offers realistic productivity expectations.
