About The Position

As an Occupational Therapist at Westside, you will hone your skills and specialize in areas like Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health while working alongside a multidisciplinary team of Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Clinical Counselors, and ABA professionals. You will assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary, identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more. You will also provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
