About The Position
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Vineland. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a therapist who enjoys providing individualized care and helping residents improve their ability to perform everyday activities safely and independently.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
- Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence
- Establish treatment goals and monitor resident progress
- Recommend adaptive equipment and teach strategies to improve safety and daily function
- Adjust treatment plans based on resident needs and progress
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with COTAs, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals
