About The Position

Aspect is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join their Northern Sydney team. This is a varied, community-based role focused on making a genuine impact in the lives of Autistic children, young people, and adults. The role involves managing your own caseload while being supported by a collaborative clinical team. You will work directly with participants in their everyday environments (home, school, or community) to help them build practical skills, independence, and confidence aligned with their goals. The position offers clinical diversity, creativity, and the opportunity to tailor supports to individual needs, reflecting Aspect's philosophy of recognizing a 'different brilliant'.

Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Full AHPRA registration
Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (km and tolls reimbursed)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working With Children Check (state-based)
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
International police check (if required)

Responsibilities

Deliver therapy supports to 3 - 4 participants per day in community settings
Develop practical, goal-focused intervention plans
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and support networks
Build strategies that are strengths-based, functional, and meaningful
Support participants to develop independence and everyday life skills
Work both autonomously in the community and as part of a highly supportive team
