About The Position

Corewell Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist at Pine Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center. The facility provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, 24-hour skilled nursing, hospice and respite care, restorative care, and certified wound care. It has rehabilitation areas for physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

The Occupational Therapist provides therapy to patients according to their needs and medical direction. The role also includes educating patients and caregivers and arranging adaptive equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Michigan Occupational Therapist license.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
• Provide patient and caregiver education.
