About The Position

HealthPro Heritage has a great Full Time Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity located in Dunwoody, GA. Join our compassionate therapy team where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Work alongside a skilled, supportive team to provide personalized care, fostering a nurturing environment that empowers seniors to reach their fullest potential in health and independence. This position is split between 2 true outpatient settings in Assisted Living facilities 8 mins apart from each other. We offer an established Rehab Team and the opportunity to work with a dynamic, active senior population in a positive and engaging community.

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Pay range: $45-$48/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and enhance their functional abilities.
Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
