Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of clinical experience in an inpatient, acute care, rehabilitation, or hospital setting.
- New graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow in an inpatient environment are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence and recovery.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for medically complex patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, case managers, and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and discharge planning.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and growth of rehabilitation services throughout the PAM Health system.
- Demonstrate flexibility in supporting patient care across multiple settings within the health system, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
