About The Position
Boothby Therapy Services is seeking a Maine-licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a fully remote, school-based position up to 4 days per week, supporting students. This role offers flexibility for experienced OTs, clinicians seeking flexibility, or those passionate about innovative service delivery. The position utilizes an innovative HyTech Therapy Solution, combining technology with student-centered care for exceptional occupational therapy services to schools. The mission is to help children succeed by building skills, confidence, and independence.
Requirements
- Active Maine Occupational Therapy License (required)
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Comfort with virtual therapy platforms and technology
- A passion for helping students succeed
Nice To Haves
- School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual occupational therapy services to students
- Conduct evaluations, provide interventions, and monitor student progress
- Support fine motor development, sensory processing, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional participation in school
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school-based teams
- Work alongside an on-site HyTech Facilitator to ensure effective virtual service delivery
- Participate in IEP development, documentation, and consultation as needed
