Interim HealthCare is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing home health team. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of Maine
Current CPR Certification required
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience preferred, ideally in home healthcare

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
Assist patients in improving mobility, coordination, and daily living skills
Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications to improve safety and independence
Assess fall risks and educate patients and caregivers on home safety strategies
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, PTs, SLPs, HHAs, and caregivers
Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team and physician
