Requirements

Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OT) License
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively

Nice To Haves

Home health experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' functional abilities and occupational therapy needs within their home environment
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on achieving meaningful goals
Provide therapeutic exercises and adaptive training to improve daily function
Educate patients and caregivers on safety, mobility, and activities of daily living
Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications that support independence
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, caregivers, and family members
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize outcomes
