About The Position

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to provide home health services throughout Allston, Massachusetts. The role involves delivering individualized occupational therapy in patients’ homes to improve functional abilities, address everyday challenges, and support greater independence. Compensation is up to $160 per visit, with flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, clinical and administrative support, and ongoing training and professional development. VRNS describes itself as clinician-owned and clinician-focused and notes that its ABI Waiver Program helps promote consistent scheduling while allowing Per Diem clinicians flexibility and independence.

Requirements

Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
Afternoon availability.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide skilled interventions to improve strength, coordination, and functional performance.
Address activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
Assess home safety and recommend adaptive equipment and modifications.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and home exercise programs.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
