About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the therapy team at Autumn Lake at Cherry Lane. Work with residents to develop practical skills, improve daily function, and achieve greater independence through individualized occupational therapy services.
Requirements
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide skilled treatment addressing activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional performance
- Establish meaningful goals based on each resident's abilities and rehabilitation needs
- Recommend adaptive techniques and equipment when appropriate
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans based on resident response
- Educate residents and caregivers on strategies that promote safety and independence
- Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with COTAs, PT, SLP, nursing, and other healthcare professionals
