About The Position

MOST/DFW is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to work in an interdisciplinary team of Speech, Physical, and ABA therapists for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. New Grads Welcome! Working as an interdisciplinary team of speech, occupational, physical, and ABA professionals, we provide fun and functional therapy to improve quality of life. This position provides services throughout our Allen territory, treating at 2–3 partnering ABA centers where we collaborate with ABA teams to provide integrated care for shared patients. This position is a 1099 contract position to start, with the opportunity to increase to a full-time caseload depending on your availability. Rates range from $27.50 to $55.00 per session, based on years of pediatric experience and additional certifications.

Requirements

  • Current OTR license to practice in the State of Texas
  • Willingness to commit to a minimum of 20 working hours per week on a 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day schedule
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Laptop or tablet for documentation within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Experience with pediatrics, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and/or Sensory Processing Disorder preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services at one of our partnering ABA locations for clients ranging from 3–12 years of age
  • Collaborate with co-treating therapists and ABA team members to develop innovative strategies and techniques to help clients achieve their goals
  • Create and implement therapy programs that enhance performance in daily living skills and improve quality of life
  • Administer evaluations and re-evaluations, analyze results, report findings, formulate plans of care, and establish long-term and short-term goals
  • Track and document client progress and goal mastery while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and communicate client progress with other treatment team members
  • Educate families to support skill generalization and carryover across environments
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education, professional publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations
  • Attend and participate in continuing education programs to expand knowledge, enhance clinical excellence, and support fellow team members through collaboration and mentorship
