About The Position
AB Staffing Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in the Surprise, Arizona area for the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves working with students who have IEPs and/or 504 Plans, providing direct and consultative services, and collaborating with educational teams. The assignment is expected to last through May 27, 2027, with an ASAP start. Requirements
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapist License.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Nice To Haves
- School-based Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interpret results for educational teams.
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of IEPs and 504 Plans.
- Recommend and adapt therapeutic tools, equipment, and strategies based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, staff, and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable Arizona licensure and school requirements.
- Support students with educational, developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs.
