About The Position
Symbria is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for its Home Health Rehab Team, serving patients in Tinley Park, Illinois, and surrounding areas within a driving radius of up to 40 miles north, east, and west. The role focuses on helping older adults achieve independence through patient-centered care. The Occupational Therapist establishes goals and develops and carries out treatment plans, supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. The position also requires meeting productivity standards and completing documentation. The position offers a flexible schedule with no set start or end times, mileage reimbursement, and training for clinicians without home health experience. New graduates are welcome and may receive structured mentorship. Symbria is a 100% employee-owned company through an employer-funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapists.
- Hold a valid state license or have a pending state license for newer graduates.
Nice To Haves
- Acute care, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation experience; this experience is not required.
- Home health experience is not required; training is provided.
- New graduates are welcome and structured mentorship is available.
