The Occupational Therapist will plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct occupational therapy services, programs, and activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines. This role involves collaborating with staff from related departments, maintaining therapy standards, and participating in resident care planning and assessments. The therapist will assume responsibility for directing the occupational therapy department in conjunction with the Director of Rehabilitation, maintaining treatment records, and ensuring accurate billing. They will also supervise occupational therapy assistants and administer therapy services via Telehealth as required.
