About The Position
123 Baby Talks Developmental Services, LLC is a dedicated center-based Early Intervention program committed to providing high-quality care to children with developmental delays and disabilities. We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The role involves working closely with children, families, and other therapists to promote fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
Requirements
- Valid NYS Occupational Therapist license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-focused approach.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify strengths and challenges in fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, and sensory processing.
- Deliver engaging, play-based direct therapy services to improve fine and gross motor skills abilities.
- Collaborate with families to provide education and support.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
