About The Position

Merakey is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their School in Mount Pleasant, PA. The role involves conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy services to students in grades K-12+, evaluating various skill areas impacting student performance, collaborating with team members, and maintaining accurate documentation and professional licensure.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Arts or Masters of Arts in Occupational Therapist program
• Certified by National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Must possess a valid State Occupational Therapist License.

• Experience working with children with autism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess students' functional abilities and identify individualized treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans, including participation in the development and revision of IEPs.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K–12+ to support academic success and independence.
• Evaluate sensory-motor, neuromuscular, psychosocial, and cognitive-perceptual skills that impact student performance.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support student progress and achieve educational goals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, current professional licensure, and all required continuing education in accordance with agency and state regulations.
