About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to work in a skilled nursing facility at North Village Park in Moberly, Missouri. The role focuses on patient-centered, one-on-one therapy, with group or concurrent treatments making up less than 1% of treatment. The schedule is Monday through Friday and flexible, with realistic schedules intended to support work-life balance. Pay is a competitive hourly rate based on experience; the salary range is undisclosed.

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs, creates and delivers individualized treatment plans, and helps patients improve motor skills, coordination, daily function, independence, and quality of life. The therapist works collaboratively with PT, SLP, physicians, and the broader care team. Requirements

• Master’s or doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state occupational therapy license.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an occupational therapist; new graduates are welcome.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices.
• Educate patients on strategies to improve function and safety.
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, physicians, and the full care team.
• Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately.
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and research.
