About The Position
Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a comprehensive multidisciplinary company offering Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy, Massage, and Acupuncture services. We are seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our growing team, splitting time between our Port Washington & Mineola clinics. This role involves providing one-on-one outpatient OT care in state-of-the-art facilities.
Requirements
- Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
- NYS Occupational Therapy License or eligible
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- CPR/First Aid Certification
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred (mentorship available for new grads)
- Sensory integration experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one outpatient OT care
- Evaluate, design, and adjust individualized care plans
- Fabricate custom splints as needed
- Document evaluations and treatment progress
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
