The purpose of this position is to provide skilled occupational therapy services to the guests and residents of Immanuel Living. Expectations of Excellence include understanding and supporting the core values, mission, philosophy, and guiding principles of Immanuel Living Communities. Providing consistent quality and valued service while complying with Corporate and Department policies and procedures and State and Federal regulations is expected. Respecting the privacy, confidentiality, and possessions of those ILC serves, its staff, and Immanuel Living Communities is crucial. Contributing to an atmosphere of positivity, teamwork, and mutual support, while leading by example, is also expected. Looking for the good in others and assuming positive intentions, while being caring, compassionate, and hospitable, and acting with integrity and honesty, are key. Ensuring a safe living and working environment and attending work regularly and following the established work schedule are also part of the expectations. Managing work time wisely, ensuring overtime is pre-approved by the Director of Rehabilitation, or in his/her absence, the Therapy Clinical Coordinator, is required.
