Occupational Therapist (OT)
About The Position
Oaklin Lane is hiring a Lead Occupational Therapist at our neighborhood clinic. This role is for an experienced clinician who wants to continue treating children while also guiding the occupational therapy team. As a Lead OT, you will manage your own caseload of children and supervise the caseloads of certified occupational therapy assistants and OT techs on your team. The team size will adhere to state supervision guidelines to ensure quality care. You will remain closely involved with the children, influence the program's direction, and support the growth of your team members, with adequate time, space, and resources to succeed.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of pediatric experience
- Deep knowledge of pediatric development, including fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Familiarity with state supervision requirements for COTAs and techs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort using EMR systems and reviewing documentation for clinical accuracy and compliance
- A team-first mindset aligned with Oaklin Lane’s values

- Supervisory or mentorship experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Carry your own caseload, providing evidence-based, play-based occupational therapy for kids from infancy through adolescence
- Supervise the caseloads of the COTAs and OT techs on your team, consistent with state supervision guidelines
- Provide regular mentorship, feedback, and clinical support so every kid on every supervised caseload receives evidence-based care
- Guide treatment planning and goal development across your caseload and the caseloads you supervise
- Review and co-sign documentation — ensure clinical notes meet compliance and quality standards
- Monitor progress and adjust approaches alongside your assistant and tech team
- Join interdisciplinary meetings and coordinate care with SLP and PT
- Foster a team culture of learning, mutual support, and clinical excellence
- Keep organized systems for scheduling, supervision logs, and documentation review
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy
