About The Position
Occupational Therapist (OT) Citrus Heights Post Acute – Citrus Heights, CA Earn $65–$70/hour + $10,000 Sign-On Bonus! Citrus Heights Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred
- Experience with PointClickCare and Casamba preferred
- Passion for patient-centered rehabilitation and quality outcomes
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day of physician referral
- Develop individualized treatment plans and obtain physician approval
- Provide occupational therapy treatments per physician orders
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), aides, and students
- Communicate patient progress and care plans with interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in care conferences, rehab meetings, and discharge planning
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Train nursing staff, restorative aides, patients, and caregivers
- Recommend and facilitate ordering of adaptive and durable medical equipment
- Maintain therapy equipment and report repair needs promptly
- Support a positive and compassionate patient care environment
