About The Position

This role focuses on collaborative patient care, designing and monitoring comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient goals and independent living skills. The therapist will empower patients and their support systems through education, providing necessary adaptive equipment and community resources for a confident discharge. Additionally, the role involves clinical leadership, offering mentorship and oversight to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Therapy Technicians to ensure excellence, safety, and compliance. Continuous growth is encouraged through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and seeking consultations to maintain the highest standard of patient care.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
