About The Position
The Occupational Therapist provides age-specific treatment and care to patients, residents, or registrants. The role requires understanding growth and development principles to assess age-specific needs and deliver appropriate care. The position is located at Samaritan Keep Home in the Occupational Therapy department.
Requirements
- Graduation from an occupational therapy education program with at least a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
- Successful completion of all occupational therapy student internships.
- Ability to effectively interact with all age groups served.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and public relations skills.
- Understanding of growth and development principles to assess age-specific needs and provide treatment and care.
- New York State licensure and registration, or eligibility for licensure and registration.
- BLS certification at the time of hire or within three months of the hire date.
