About The Position

San Antonio Nursing HH is rapidly expanding and seeking committed Occupational Therapists to partner with patients throughout the process of restoring independence and helping them function at their personal best. The role focuses on maximizing clients’ quality of life and rehabilitation potential through promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. The posting highlights flexibility and working your own hours. The position involves travel to patients, including locations outside 1604, Helotes, Schertz, and Converse; travel to New Braunfels, Seguin, San Marcos, or Canyon Lake is a bonus.

Requirements

Proven work experience as a therapist.
Current knowledge of treatment practices.
Drive to continually learn and grow.
Professional behavior.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Valid license to practice occupational therapy.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Valid CPR certification.
Willingness to travel outside 1604, Helotes, Schertz, and Converse.

Nice To Haves

Preferred working knowledge of Kinzer.
Ability to travel to New Braunfels, Seguin, San Marcos, or Canyon Lake is a bonus.

Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery.
Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques.

Promote clients’ healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
Consult and practice with other health professionals.
Evaluate treatment effects, monitor progress, and communicate progress.
Document patient care services.
