About The Position

Let's Talk! Therapy Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist to work with pediatric clients at its outpatient facility in the Las Vegas Medical District. The therapist-owned practice describes its workplace as positive, collaborative, and supportive, with interdisciplinary teamwork, including team roundtables and brainstorming discussions for challenging cases. The role includes evaluating and treating pediatric clients, developing treatment plans, maintaining documentation, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and providing parent education. Team Lead responsibilities also include supporting team culture and morale, participating in team meetings, communicating between the manager and team, and mentoring new employees and graduate students. The center provides behavior management training and mentorship to new employees and supplies all materials.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Valid, active Nevada Occupational Therapy license.
• Three to five years of Occupational Therapy experience.
• Mentoring experience.
• Pleasant demeanor.
• Positive, collaborative work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Model, facilitate, and promote positive work culture and team morale.
• Participate in Core Team meetings.
• Facilitate or participate in communication between the manager and team.
• Facilitate or participate in Lead team meetings.
• Mentor new employees.
• Mentor graduate students.
• Evaluate and treat pediatric clients.
• Create and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide parent education.
